DIFFU-THERM ® – Dye Penetrating Method
The DIFFU-THERM® dye penetrant process is a highly sensitive, non-destructive testing method, which reliably reveals cracks, pores, overlaps, wrinkles, and bonding defects. It is particularly suitable for metallic workpieces, but can also occur with ceramics or other suitable materials They can be used provided that they are not attacked by the testing equipment or are not porous.
Surface cracks These are particularly critical in highly stressed components, as they can lead to premature fracture due to notch effects. The method provides precise, standard-compliant and reliable results according to
DIN EN ISO 3452-1 and DIN 54152 Part 1.

The special feature of the penetrants BDR-L BDR-GL is that they are designed for the Temperature range from -10 °C to 50 °C designed.
The procedure is through the European patent no. 0978719 protected.
The testing equipment meets the requirements of the ASME Code Section V, Art. 6.
